Good condition(three unnumbered intaglios missing, which should come before those with numbers, intaglio No. 18 sewn after No. 19, protective tissue guards missing, rust stains).
Nineteenth-century album of views of Paris, depicting Place de la Concorde, Palais de la Chambre, Hôtel deville (City Hall), Fontaine de la Place Louvoi ,Tuileries Palace (now defunct), Palais-Royal ,Palace of Versailles, Louvre, Notre-Dame Cathedral and other representative places. Steel engravings based on daguerreotypes were made by Chamouin - Jean Baptiste Marie or Claude Hilaire Alphonse (there were two engravers of this name in France during this period).
