On the pre-title page an autograph and dedication from the author, inscribed several days before his death (21.XII.1938), to Rev. Piotr Krysiak, a prelate from Lomza, a frequent guest at the Niklewicz manor in Drozdowo, where Dmowski spent the last months of his life.
