Leszno 1853, published and printed by Ernest Gunther. 11x17.5 cm, pp. (12), 786, (6), portrait of Dunin by Carl Mayer, black and white engravings on separate pages, full leather binding of period, gilt block edges, chromolithographed pre-title page. Good condition (rubbing of the binding, rust spots [foxing], single small traces of dampstaining, a few small cracks in the block, a handwritten prayer on the last page).

A collection of prayers composed by Marcin Dunin Sulgostowski(born November 11, 1774 in Wale, died December 26, 1842 in Poznan) - a Polish Roman Catholic bishop, metropolitan archbishop of Gniezno and Poznan and primate of Poland in 1831-1842.The first edition was published in 1842. A nice piece in a period leather binding.
