Inventory of the Chemistry Department of the former Vilnius University, begun by Jędrzej Śniadecki in 1797 and brought to completion by Ignacy Fonberg. The archival material was collected and prepared for printing by Kazimierz Slawinski. Layout and vignette: Tadeusz Gronowski. Portrait of Jędrzej Śniadecki made as a copperplate engraving by Jerzy Hoppen in Vilnius. An edition of 600 pieces. Piece with autograph and dedication from Jan Muszyński (1884-1957), pharmacist, pioneer of phytochemical research and herbal medicine in Poland, co-founder of the national herbal industry, to Robert Rembielinski (1894-1975), an outstanding pharmacist and historian of pharm acy from Lodz.
