Biographical study on one of the most outstanding Polish composers. The book is the fruit of Karasowski's twenty years of toil, undertaken to search for and collect materials on Chopin's life and works. The author wrote down and included here many of the composer's letters, to which he gained access thanks to Izabella Barcinska, who was in charge of the late brother's legacy.
