Lviv 1903, Polish Circulation Society. 14.5x22 cm, pp (4), 180, linen bookbinding. Good condition (ownership signature, rubbing of binding).
Second edition censored. The first edition was confiscated, two stories were removed in the second edition. The author included in the introduction his thanks to those who defended the publication of his book. Like a soldier from the battlefield covered with wounds, but alive and with freedom won, so the present book returns among the reading public with an admittedly spent title and covered in two places with patches of parliamentary interpellations, but with the right to exist won. At this point I extend my thanks to all those who, with or without regard to content, stood up for it, doing so in the name of freedom and independence of Polish thought.
