New York 1955, Fregata Publishing Co. 14x20 cm, pp. 169, (3), 8 (black and white photographs), cloth bookbinding. Good condition (ex libris on front pastedown, small tears on a few pages, delicate rubbing of binding).
An account by Bohdan Pavlovich (1899-1967), writer and journalist, scouting instructor, sailor and traveler, of a voyage aboard ORP "Garland" in May 1942, in which the author participated as a war correspondent. Sailing in the protection of convoy PQ-16, "Garland" suffered heavy damage and loss of life (22 crew members were killed) as a result of bombing attacks.
