An account by Bohdan Pavlovich (1899-1967), writer and journalist, scouting instructor, sailor and traveler, of a voyage aboard ORP "Garland" in May 1942, in which the author participated as a war correspondent. Sailing in the protection of convoy PQ-16, "Garland" suffered heavy damage and loss of life (22 crew members were killed) as a result of bombing attacks.
