Nautical novel by Bohdan Pavlovich (1899-1967), writer and journalist, scouting instructor, sailor and traveler, popular in the interwar period as an author of travel-adventure novels. On the pre-title page, the author's dedication: To our dear Oleńka - Dankowie [short for Bohdan; Dankowie - implied by the author and his wife], Warsaw 9.VIII.1935 . The cover and vignettes were designed by Konstanty M. Sopoćko.
