Military booklet of Kazimierz Kierski (1908-1944), a Warsaw locksmith. In 1929-1931 he served in the 1st Tank Regiment, then in 1934 and 1936 he did training in the 2nd Tank and Armored Car Battalion. The transfer to reserve in 1931 was signed by the regimental commander, Lt. Col. Eugeniusz Wyrwinski (1895-1966). From another document in our auction, we know that the holder of the booklet in 1939 worked at Ammunition Plant No. 1 at Fort Bema in Warsaw. He died on September 2, 1944, murdered among a group of staff and wounded in the hospital at 7 Dluga Street, after German troops occupied the Old Town.
