"Dear Madam! I don't know if I am writing my letter to the right address. However, I have the impression that that "clandestine" Miss St. from Warsaw, which at one time gifted little Kucharyja and Bylok with sweets and a girlish heart, and that Mrs. S. G. from the "open letter to Morcinek" is the "Lady from Polish" from the gymnasium of R. Gaczenska and E. Kacprowska. Gaczenska and E. Kacprowska in Warsaw. I was prompted to write this letter by a letter from Ms. Irena Miedzinska, editor of Gazeta Polska, who sent me the "Open Letter to Morcinek." I know, Ms. sent it to the Editorial Board of Gazeta Polska with the idea that it would be posted. Meanwhile, Ms. Miedzinska addressed it directly to me, revealing its author. I don't think she acted very badly. On the contrary - very good. I am thinking here of revealing the author's name. The letter came as a joyful surprise to me. So joyful that in the first moment I became like a child who rejoices immensely over some unexpected, luminous, bright surprise." [excerpt]
