Stanislaw Dawski (1905-1990) - studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He received his diploma in 1939 in the studio of Feliks Szczęsny Kowarski and Stanisław Ostoi-Chrostowski. From 1945, for the next 25 years, he was associated with the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, of which he was a professor and, for a time, rector. He worked in printmaking, painting, ceramic and glass sculpture.
