Handbook of printmaking techniques, written by antiquarian and art historian Jerome Wilder (1876-1941). It contains a detailed description of each printmaking technique, including woodcut, copperplate, intaglio, etching, aquatint and lithography, with appropriately selected reproductions of excellent quality, as well as a bibliography of the subject and practical information on how to inventory engravings. Among the 36 prints included in the book are original woodcuts by Józef Holewiński and Władysław Skoczylas (one each), and two autolithographs by Leon Wyczółkowski.
